The Purujosa Rally is a circular mountain biking route which runs through several municipalities of the Comarca of Aranda, in the province of Zaragoza: Purujosa, Pomer and Aranda. The course of this all-terrain biking route also runs alongside the town of Calcena.
It is an XC/Rally route which is mainly on tracks. The route includes the ascent to the Collado de las Piedras and to the Collado de Montecabras. From these two points we will be able to enjoy the views of the comarca and quick, fun descents through pine forests.
The Purujosa Rally route consists of four different sections. The first is a steep ascent to the Collado de las Piedras. Next is the intense descent through pine forests to Pomer, and more progressively to Aranda, passing the Lagüen spring.
The third part of this route of the Cara Oculta All-Terrain Biking Centre is the ascent to the Collado de Montecabras, bordering the Maidevera reservoir and the fence of the private hunting preserve. The fourth and final part of the route is a rapid descent, again through pine forests, with wonderful views of La Muela and Pico Morrón.
