Calcena – Trasobares is an xc/rally mountain biking route in the province of Zaragoza, which allows a wide range of landscapes to be enjoyed.
The route has three different sections. The first is a very diverse track of eight kilometres connecting Calcena with Trasobares. Along the track running parallel to the river, we will find riverside vegetation, which will transform into a landscape of abandoned vineyards as we ascend the hill, ending in a leafy kermes oak forest where we will enjoy a fast and exciting descent.
Take care on km 22: half the track has collapsed and extreme care must be taken.
The second part of the route runs along a dirt track with a steep ascent to the chapel of San Cristóbal de Calcena. From there, we will be able to enjoy incredible panoramic views.
The third part of this mountain bike route in the Comarca of Aranda is a fast descent on a track until reaching Calcena. The route has very technical points in ravines with rocky terrain, where extreme care must also be taken.
