The Refugio de Valdemanzano all-terrain bike route runs through the landscape of Valdemanzano, with its mountain refuge and leafy forests.
Despite its moderate length, this all-terrain bike route in the province of Zaragoza and the surroundings of the Moncayo mountains are catalogued as difficult due to the steep slopes which must be faced in some sections, and above all, due to the technical descent section in the area of Puntal de Peñarroya, which has a steep slope and which will test both your technique and the brakes of your bike.
From Añón, the road is taken toward Agramonte for a few kilometres until taking the forest track which runs into the Moncayo Natural Park, with a long, continuous ascent to the pleasant Refugio de Valdemanzano.
There, the route descends for 2km, then reaching several steep slopes. The ascent continues to run past the Fuente Cantalera, where a stop must be made, to the Collado de la Loma from which there is only one more pleasant descent through the forests of Moncayo and the Morana ravine until reaching the Caves of Añón.
